Nothing too grand about this spot but I didn't think to check out the reviews before eating here with my mom. We noticed the line was long so in my head "it should be really good!" As I lined up and ordered, it didn't take too long for the food ... to be ready since they take your order even before you get to the cash register. My mom and I ordered their crab cakes, lobster roll, and lobster bisque. The crab works were okay, nothing too special; lobster roll didn't seem to have that much meat in it, and the lobster bisque was way too salty for us. Maybe it's a non-Asian thing but it seems that non-asian establishments tend to have saltier dishes. Note to self, don't try it again. Read more
This is my absolute go to for the best lobster rolls in Toronto. Fresh, delicious and generous portions! You’ll find this incredible spot located in the historic St Lawrence Market. The best part is you can make it one of many amazing stops. I highly recommend Buster’s Sea Cove anytime your ... in downtown Toronto. Read more
Overall, I think the place is slightly overpriced for the quality and variety of food in each option. Fry to food ratio is way out of proportion. Coleslaw is drenched in mayonnaise. The fish tasted as if it was deep fried twice or over cooked. Unfortunately, I have had better ... fish and chips and restaurants for similar or cheaper prices. Overall, not satisfied for the price I paid. Read more
Updated: Quality has gone downhill and prices have increased. Had a overcooked ahi tuna after a long weekend, and realized it wasn't fresh after the first bite. This is why it was overcooked. Haven't been back since. Very good ahi tuna salad. Quick and convenient. Friendly staff. There is obviously a ... line up at lunch, so come just before noon, or order ahead. I've had the swordfish sandwich as well, which was good, but I keep coming back to the ahi tuna salad. Read more
It was my first time visiting Toronto so we went to Lawrence market and we couldn't resist sea food so we were attracted by the line up at Buster's Sea Cove because it must be a good one when you see so many people waiting to be served. The waitress ... helped me choose when I asked her recommendations and she told me that most people love the lobster roll so I went for it. My friends had a crab cakes and grilled calamari that were delicious. Everything tasted perfect so I'll definitely come back if I go back to Toronto again. My only question for the owner is: would you open a franchise in Montreal to let us enjoy too? 🤤 Read more
