Was wondering the area looking for Christmas ideas and needed a quick bite. Found this place and I have no regrets. The staff was very friendly. Just general pleasant people. The food was great! The homemade tomato soup was delicious on a rainy Sunday. The sandwiches were a tiny bit greasy but it did not take away from the great experience! Definitely coming back! The service was great, the atmosphere was so homey.

Grilled Cheese definitely represents all the things that I like in food. Bread and melted cheese. Anything else added I would hope to add or enhance those 2 flavours. I tried the Grilled Motzy at this place. The two things that stuck out, were the sundried tomatoes which added to ... the taste, while the herb pesto enhanced the taste. I've tried the Classic Cheddar & Blackjack, Grilled Motzy, Mushroom Madness & they've never disappointed. Food is great, staff are friendly & ample seating for a Kensington restaurant. Only cash is accepted. There's a debit machine in the basement but heads up on the surcharge.

Love this place. Staff are super friendly and it's my favourite grilled cheese in town. I do wish they offered more sides than just chips, but their soup is great so it balances out.
