I paid a tenner for the meatball sarni. In a world where inflation, cost of living and even existential dread are it seems co-conspirators in racketeering your wallet, this place will give you smiles for miles.

After trying various locations around the city, I find the Claremont location to still be superior to the others. They definitely put more meat in each sandwich. The sweet veal with cheese and mushrooms is my go-to. Although I rated it a 4, this is still the best veal sandwich ... in the city. I refrained from giving it a 5 as some pieces are still pretty tough to bite off without pulling the whole patty right out. I would recommend eating it on site as the bun gets pretty soggy by the time you get to it if you take out. Read more
