A great sandwich at an affordable price. I appreciated how the restaurant was a bit off the beaten path, providing a nice break from the busyness of the main road. The dining area is pleasant and overlooks the main road. What sets this place apart from other banh mi places ... is that you can choose the level of spice for your sandwich. I chose to go with no spice, but they have a sliding scale. Also, if you buy something, you can use the bathroom—a real plus since bathrooms are so hard to come by downtown! Read more
Kimchi fries are always on the order whenever I come here! The interior of the restaurant is not the biggest nor the cleanest so I usually just order to go. But the kimchi fries in my opinion is more filling than a banh mi for lunch - so either order ... just that or make it a combo with salad n drink. The fries is filled with many ingredients that was unexpected but still so good! Def a try!! Read more
Solid bahn mi - the grilled pork was juicy and the sauce complimented the flavours nicely. They also had a generous amount of the pickled carrot radish and cucumber.
We got the kimchi fries and kalbi beef tacos. The cashiers was really nice and the food did not take too long to be ready. The kimchi fries were good as well as the tacos. The beef was tender and was not hard to work through. Flavour for both was ... definitely there and would go back if I was in the area! Read more
Unfortunately not an authentic vietnamese banh mi. Even while vietnamese ppl working there. It is more a canadian-fast-food-banh-mi style. But the banh mi was all in all ok. Fries aren’t good at all. Homemade dip (aioli?!) was good.
