If you come to a gourmet burger shop, you can’t just order a regular burger. So, that’s my own personal rule, but just gotta live a little. I ordered the double decker grilled cheese. The idea is amazing. Definitely putting on a lot of calories with this big guy. I wish ... that I could’ve seen more cheese seeping out of the grilled cheese buns and tasted more cheese would’ve been great, but the taste of the burger was exceptional. Nicely grilled smash style that is very juicy. The grilled cheese buns worked very well soaking up all the flavour from the patty. The other thing that kinda worked well was the raw onions. The extra little fresh crisp gave another element to the burger The onion rings were perfect. Nice and crispy with the soft onion inside. Fries seem like a great seller here too. Nice and potatoey with it being crisp on the outer layer Service was great. Came just after opening and never felt rushed to order. The person helping me out also gave suggestions as to what to order and was nice and friendly They have a lot of specials and see student specials being advertised also which is nice for the students on a budget. Lots of available parking in the lot out front and doesn’t seem like a busy plaza. However, I did come right after opening and some of the other restaurants had yet to open. In my opinion, I would rather have McDonald’s burger. teehee Felt bad for the server who’s doing all the job in the morning until 12N, she was alone cooking and taking orders even when it’s not yet that busy — she needs a help.
