I remember coming here as a child after church on Sundays. I am Portuguese and still to this day I believe this is the best Portuguese chicken in Toronto. This is the closest bbq chicken to the ones I have eaten in Portugal. The peri peri sauce is authentic and ... SPICY. None of this overly vinegary stuff. The star of their sauce is the chilis. I’ve been going her since I was a child and my parents would buy dinner every so often there. Now with my own husband and kids, we now follow the same. Their food is excellent and not overly priced. The chicken season is fabulous! We were very sad when they ... closed due to a fire I believe and than again with Covid. Needless to say we were thrilled when they finally opened. Only complaint would be that their rice is always under cooked ((hard), the seasoning tastes great but every time the rice feels like it was only boiled for less than 5 mins. Their salad dressing is extremely delicious. This is the ONLY restaurant I go to and order a salad with my meal every time just because of their dressing. AMAZING! They should bottle it and sell it. Tasty grilled squid and Portuguese chicken!

This is the go to place to get roast chicken for us. An unassuming little take-out place that has been in business for ages; they do what they do very well! Be sure to get the hot sauce on the side, it is VERY HOT. Some of the best ... hot sauce we've ever had, but it's too much for some people. Service is quick and to the point. I've had their chicken, potatoes and salad a few times because the place I work for orders from them on occasion. The potatoes are great and the taste of the bbq chicken is good. Unfortunately it tends to be dry and we get pieces of the back, which ... has little or no meat, or wings, and mostly (if not all) white meat.
