The absolute WORST restaurant in the city. Ordered through DoorDash because they’re still on their app and they canceled our order 30 mins after we placed it. I called to get some clarification and the manager yelled at me and hanged up the phone and told me to call DoorDash ... to complain. Completely unacceptable since we’ve ordered from them in the past. PLEASE save your money and order from authentic Italian restaurants in Toronto instead that value their customers and use quality ingredients. Do not eat here. NO star if possible. I dont know whether management or ownership changed, but we used to order from Big Man's for some time. Good pizza and good wings. We noticed a decline of the quality of the food. The reason for 1 star ( 0 actually if possible) is ... our order from this past week. the pizzas were flavourless, undercooked, almost had no toppings and tasted just awful. (felt like frozen pizzas warmed up). The wings, one of the best things they have, were undercooked and in part raw. how do you undercook wings??? they also charged us for some extra sauce, but then the best, they delivered the wrong sauces for the wings. So I called the manager. he had no clue about anything and when I told him about the poor food quality he shrug it off but in the end offered some refund to have us return as customers. I agreed, although, I felt the amount he offered was ridiculously small for a larger order that we had. He told me he will refund based on the credit card used. I left it at that. that was one week ago, and we never received the refund!!! I certainly would recommend not to order from there based on my experience. how can you promise you will improve your poor food and refund me to keep me as a customer if you treat me with such disrespect that you dont keep your first promise? the quality and service has deteriorated. I oreder a pizza and wings. The pizza was ice cold, the wings were not what we ordered ( no sauce) and the chicken wings included disgusting fried bits of chicken bone. The whole order looked gross. Quality has massively declined recently. We've ordered twice in the past year. First order on DoorDash was just canceled by the restaurant after 30 minutes without a legitimate reason beyond "technical difficulties" and the second order today took 80 minutes to be delivered and was missing sausage in the pasta. ... Overpriced basic boiled pasta with standard sauce on it. Used to be a go-to, now it's a must-avoid. Read more
