We order take out here frequently. The Combo C special is our go to. The fried rice and chow mein is good most of the time. The fries however would sometimes be old and not fresh. And before COVID when we went to dine in we were given chow mein ... that tasted and smelled old and spoiled. The whole chicken is never fresh. I’m always receiving old chicken. We’ve been coming here since high school! That’s 13 years and they still have the same taste. Fried rice and BBQ chicken still taste great. We call this place “5 Dollar” because they used to have student special for $5! Brings back memories! ❤️

Was very excited to try a Peruvian restaurant nearby as I come from a Peruvian family and am always looking for good cuisine... But this restaurant was extremely disappointing. The chicken was okay as were the fries and salad, but they didn't offer any Aji pollero (green sauce) which is a ... huge miss since any legit Peruvian chicken spot should offer this with every meal. The lomo saltado was disgusting- had none of the wok/soy flavour that it should have, and the fries were already soggy when the dish came out because they'd been overtossed in the flavorless sauce they use. Food is good quality and fairly priced. The place is cozy and has plenty of siting for groups of 6. You can even see the chicken cooking in the rotisserie as you walk in to order which is nice and you can see the ingredients that will go on your ... plate as you order behind the glass counter. I ordered noodles and pork and found a long hair within my food on the tray. I showed the lady and I explained I wanted my money back because the minute I see hair in my food, it turns me off so as she was getting more food out for ... me, I explained that when I see hair it turns me off completely and she took my money and slapped it on the counter and walked away. Rude service as she did not even apologize, strongly do not recommend this place in my opinion. Food is very pinched, not much in it. Read more
