We recently ordered the chicken shawarma, hummus, and pita bread, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of delightful. The flavors were exceptionally authentic, with each bite of the hummus bursting with the rich, earthy taste of chickpeas and a perfect hint of garlic. The chicken shawarma was ... incredibly tender, almost melting in the mouth, showcasing the chef’s expertise in preparing this classic dish. The ambiance of the restaurant added to the overall experience. We chose to sit on the patio, which was an excellent decision. The outdoor seating area was beautifully shaded by lush trees, providing a serene and cool environment that enhanced our dining pleasure. While the food and ambiance were top-notch, there is room for improvement in the service. A more friendly and attentive approach from the staff would have elevated the experience even further. Excellent small restaurant serving authentic Middle Eastern cuisine. We had a small Salatim platter for starter; Chicken Shawarma, beef with tomatoes, roast cauliflower for mains; banana pudding & a warm chocolate cake for desserts. Never tried Middle Eastern brunch. It's different and maybe not my thing. Having a huge plate of hummus is not something I'm used to. Most of the dishes were good overall. A bit heavy for my taste tho.

This restaurant was on our list of places to try for a very long time and today we finally did. Unfortunately, the food and cocktails were a disappointment and did not live up to the hype at all. The presentation is good but that's about it. We ordered the Caeser ... and Peach Bourbon Sour cocktails. Both were average. The Tahini smothee was good however. Chicken shawarma was completely bland and a small portion given the price. Tasted like it was marinated in just turmeric. Israeli breakfast was decent. Hummus was nothing special. The only thing we liked was the pastrami meat in the pastrami hash. The potatoes were very crispy, which is good, but also very very salty. Overall, not a great experience. Service is good. Ambiance is cramped. Lot of tables stuffed in a small space. Read more

A friend recommended we meet for brunch here. The exterior of the building doesn’t look like much but the interior is a quaint diner in the middle of one of my favorite neighborhoods (the annex). The staff were friendly and accommodating, the place was nearly full with space for two ... at the bar. My friend ordered the breakfast brisket on hummus, the hummus was flavourful and fluffy, melting in your mouth, I couldn’t help but have a taste. I ordered the Roast Cauliflower and eggs. All the food was fresh and well cooked. The flavours of tahin, pine nuts and pomegranate all melded together beautifully. I’ll definitely give this restaurant another go, sooner rather than later.
