Terrible shawarma. They charge more than other places and it’s like I’m eating a veggie wrap…barely any meat. Feel ripped off. Definitely won’t come back. Still hungry

Awesome service, best tasting shawarma in town and portions are very generous - in fact too much for most people. The chain of Ali Baba’s Shawarma shops in Toronto is way better than either of Osmow’s or Lazeez chains which dominate the shawarma scene in Mississauga and Oakville. The daily specials ... are probably the healthiest and most affordable lunch you can have anywhere but the entire menu is very affordable. Pretty good spot. There is no organization on where to start your order (like Subway) and they seemed easily flustered but it was overall a good experience. The crazy wrap is quite delicious but they didn't specify that it was going to be sliced up...kind of odd for a wrap?? ... Luckily the order was redeemed by the awesome taste. I also got crazy sauce and hot sauce added to the fries, which was a great choice. I think I prefer the location at Dundas and Cordova more but this is convenient for those who are in and out of the TTC. Read more
