Review is based on Tuesday special hard tacos and their scorpion chicken wings. Firstly, when we arrived we were seated directly beside another table, and their tables are way too close together to a point where it’s distracting as you can hear others’s conversations. The worst part is the place wasn’t ... packed and there was no need to sit us directly beside another party. The chicken wings were definitely not worth it. The flavour was lacklustre. And considering it was $18 for 7 medium-sized wings, it’s better to purchase something else. The taco special (Tuesdays) included 10 hard shells, chorizo (beef and pork mix), guacamole, lettuce, tomatoes, jalapeños, cheese and different sauces. Overall these were decent and the price was also decent. Service at the restaurant was lacking. We were here on a Thursday afternoon around 3pm. Upon entering, the hostess didn't greet us warmly, and our request to be seated on the patio seemed to inconvenience them. The waitress appeared even less pleased when they approached us. They seem to be ... impatient when we asked about non-alcoholic beverages. After we placed our drink order, we asked for another moment to take a look at the food options and they just seem annoyed. I understand everyone has their moments but to project it on to your guests is not very good. Maybe they were understaffed at this time, so something for management to consider. While the food was tasty, the prices were steep, with tacos ranging from $8 to $10 each and nachos priced at $27 without meat, with an additional $6 to $8 charge for protein. The food was so good. We ordered cauliflower bites and sweet potatoes fries. They taste so good 5/5 for both. We tried tacos mushroom tostado, sweet potato taco.
