Asked why AAA is in quotation marks. Is it not Canada AAA? He couldn’t answer and then just started making things up, aka lying to a customer (not intentionally but still): “it’s the highest grade of meat in Canada…. It’s the same as USDA Prime but people don’t know what ... it is so we just put that.” A simple, “thanks for pointing that out; we’ll fix the sign” would have been sufficient. I would rate lower if I could. Let’s start with customer service. We ordered two grande burritos one steak and one pork that cost $38.96 and the black guy didn’t mark them and didn’t care. I don’t eat pork and he was a huge jerk. His rudeness aside they were ... disgusting and couldn’t finish them. Wouldn’t be surprised if I had food poisoning soon. Not sure the steak was beef, didn’t taste or seem like it. The pork one had large pieces of gristle that made it not edible and the rice was crunchy. Yuck. Thinking about it now I want to purge. There are lots of ways to spend $21 at the farmer's market: this is one of the BEST! We got the pork belly sandwich, which includes a soft hoagie roll, layers of juicy pork belly, and mustard if you choose. Now get this: we made it a meal by pairing ... the sandwich with not one, but two LOADED sides, loaded baked beans, and loaded mashed potatoes. We carried the heavy tray of savory goodness to a picnic table outside and settled in for a late lunch gnosh-fest. Every part of the meal was deliciously warm and satisfying. Wanted to make a delicious steak supper and being I was visiting Toronto I didn’t know which butcher to choose. I saw a man with a hat and Batman t shirt on I believe his name was Brad, he helped recommend some of the most beautiful and delicious New York ... strips along with some bacon ends and we had an exceptional supper. With his expertise and education I went back a second time and this time we wanted to try some ribeyes, he hand picked the best ones and educated me again and they were also an exceptional pick! Their meat selection is truly exceptional. I was not expecting to find cooked meat here, so this was definitely a surprising finding.
