Extremely rude, went here once and will never go back again. Servers need to learn a thing or two about customer service. Ali Baba's down the street is a much better option.

This is a review of the Villa Madina located at Yonge and Walton St. The food is ok. The shawarma is very soggy as they add too much sauces or the sauces are very watery. I cant understand how they wrap the shawarma. Always have a hard time opening it. ... The people making the shawarma are sometimes rude. The lady is always nice but one of the young guys is rude. Ordered 2 shawarma 1 beef 1 chicken .,.beef was one of the best I've had .,.can't say the same for the chicken but yeah i would eat there again

The problem with these guys is they use their bare hands to make the food. The guy making my shawarma had only one plastic glove on. The second hand was his bare hand, and it is not like I saw him wash it before. These guys are ... middle eastern and have hairs even between their fingers. Guess what ended up in my shawarma! On top of that they did not hear it up enough after in the presser. Half of it was cold. Disgusting. Learn the clean process of serving food, gloves on both hands and I "might" consider coming back. Had a very bad experience here. The shawarma size is really small and when I asked about it, they said the bakery made the size that small. Then I told them how I had gone to their other branch near yonge and gerrard and their shawarma was much bigger.. ... They said SOMETIMES they have the bigger size at that branch. Further more, the napkin they provided me with the shawarma sandwich belonged to an "El-Mayor" restaurant. Talk about franchise and standards. I will not recommend this branch to anyone. If you have the time, make a little bit more effort and walk to the yonge and gerrard branch instead. Read more
