Mashu Mashu on Yonge - Toronto, Ontario

First time I went (party of 7) I was impressed with the quality, the service and the value. Second time I went (May 6/18) party of 4, it was a totally different experience. The lamb was overcooked and not as I ordered. My companions found the food pairings awkward. ... There was no service to speak of, more like get the food and then expect to be ignored. It was rather bizarre: there were at least 4 or 5 staff walking back and forth and great noise coming from the kitchen, but we were never attended to the entire meal. The dishes were finally removed and again ignored. No offer of coffee or dessert or bill. They KNEW we had no food or drinks so what was the staff thinking? We had to ask for dessert menus and then again ask for the bill. Then the server couldn't get the bill correct. I don't know why restaurants don't understand that competent efficient service is a big part of why people go out for dinner. Great place, amazing and realy tasty food. I will recommend to all my friends and family. Been there 5 times and will go back anytime i would like to eat great food!

We ordered through uber eats. Shawarma chicken plate ... the chicken was dry and hard and really gross to be honest. I cant justify spending almost $15 on a chicken shawarma plate that included dry hard chicken bits and chopped cucumber and tomato plain with no taste. Food is delicious and service is great! The dips are so light and fluffy, meat is tender and everything is just wonderful. Definitely going back.

Walked by here and the smell alone was enticing. The salad was the best I've had in years. You won't be disappointed!
