Delicious food, attentive service, clean facilities, a lot of seating! Do yourself a favour and treat your family to a meal from Gourmet Malaysia. The food is consistent, affordable, and they even have a cute robot to help serve the food. 10/10

A friend recommended this restaurant for great food. We enjoyed Crispy Butter Shrimp (奶油蝦), Hainanese Chicken with rice (海南雞飯), Kang Kung (Water Spinach) with Belacan sauce (馬拉盞通菜); Roti with curry beef brisket (印尼酥餅). It was a very tasty and different option. It was my first Malaysian experience and the food tasted phenomenal. Had a few different things that most folks may not enjoy but it's worth asking for suggestions from staff. Service was alright, had to wave and get attention from staff as ... after we ordered, they never came back. Overall friendly staff but were not always available. Price was very expensive when you compare to most Chinese/ hakka restaurants but it is definitely an experience. Halal food confirmed by asking staff, nowhere listed. The servers are extremely rude! The way we were spoken to from the moment we entered was pretty sad, especially by two servers whom I didn’t get their names. Service was so bad that I didn’t want to tip, but afraid I’d get yelled at. Food was mediocre, maybe we didn’t ... enjoy the food as much because of the way we were treated. The food was hit and miss. I had both take out and dine in few times and the curry beef was pretty good but the fried rice and noodles had very little seafood in it. The coconut rice was ok. I won't say is bad but is ... not my top choice of food. Read more
