If your in the Yorkdale shopping mall area visit this mom and pop restaurant, which is serving Venezuelan home style food. There's alot in the menu you should try.

I've been coming here for the last 3 years, and I would recommend them if it wasn't because of this. Today on Jan 25 2019, I noticed that my tequeños tasted like fish (could have been that the dough absorbed the smell in the fridge or that the oil was used ... for fish), either way, with a full tray and only half an eaten one I decided to call the restaurant to let them know about this, and to check if it was cool to change them. As soon as the owner heard my opinion about it he got MAD, he proceeded to state that I was on the wrong, that he deep fried everything separately, etc. I had no qualms with his observation, he's the one who cooks them after all, but still, the tequeños tasted like fish, so I offered to bring them over and had him taste them with me to show him what I was talking about, he just got angrier and he hanged the phone on me. Well, I really had no problems with not having them, but I do have a problem with people who are rude and scream at me when I'm being civilized. Great food and even better service! Will definitely recommend and visit again to try more items on the menu. Very clean and inviting. Not a lot of parking available directly on the plaza, but lots of street parking reasonably close. If you are in the area and would like a ... little taste of Venezuela I’d definitely try them out! Great latin american food, very fulfilling. The quantities of the food don't look huge but the content is delicious and very filling. Could barely finish my sandwich and empanada. The tacquino was delicious as well. Seating is normal and id suggest this place for a work lunch!
