Extraordinarily bad service. I've worked in the food industry before and they go the extra mile to show their clients how little they care. It may take them a whole 40 mins to be asked if you'd like anything to drink (they didn't even offer water)--that's if they're not too ... busy chatting up amongst each other prior to deciding who's *not* your server. Other tables that were sat after you may get their food first. Ordered an appetizer? Good luck! After waiting over an hour you might get your entree. You might as well order your desert first---that's if they have any. And don't worry, despite providing you with subpar service they'll slam your bill with an added gratuity and they're not apologetic about it. The food is, at best, average. Small portions for the price you pay. Peruvian food es exquisite and I recommend you try it, but go somewhere else. I do not recommend this restaurant. They need to improve their service. Read more
Offers tasty Peruvian standard options at an affordable price. One of the few Peruvian restaurant in the city of Toronto.
I have got the worse experience food and service wise in this place. I ordered the jalea dish and this is what I got 2 small shrimps, 4 rings of squid, 3 small pieces of fish, and 1 third of a baby octopus that I was trying to figure out ... what kind of seafood was that. The price of the dish was C$ 18.00 which I believe it was expensive for the entree dish which is more like an appetizer size. The waitress was out of content she didn't know what kind of wine was she selling, and when she served the wine at the table she filled the glass all the way to the top. When I called her to ask her about the size of the food, she said- Oh! I thought there was something wrong with your food, Oh! the size???!! well, what can I do. I ask her for some lemon, I guess she forgot it and send it almost at the end of my meal. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE to people who knows about Peruvian food and how it is served properly. I WILL NEVER come back to his place. Read more
This was my first experience going to a Peruvian restaurant and I must say that it's fantastic. I ordered a seafood dish with rice and some fried yucca. The fish was cooked perfectly and the sauce for it was to die for. I know my partner also enjoyed his meal ... as well. even the atmosphere and decor was really cool. If I were in the area again, I definitely go back :) Read more
Food is pretty good but almost all the mains are from the $18+ range. I think it's a bit pricey for what is almost like home cooking, but it's worthwhile if you are a big fan of peruvian food.
