The ladies who run this place are awesome and make great food. The bi bim bap is amazing and they make their kimchi in house.

There are actually two locations for the Metropolis Cafe. They have a underground food court unit and the cafe on the ground floor as well. Since I have visited both locations, I prefer the ground floor one due to service and their own eating area. The prices aren't bad for ... Yorkville area, quite a gem! Cafe (Ground Floor) has better service, and as mentioned, their own space for eating inside of Cumberland Terrace. The ladies are really nice there and they always chat up to get to know their customers. Food court (Underground) has lame service. The employees lack the enthusiasm that the upstairs ladies have. They have a few more options than the cafe version and a bit more selection. They have Pork Bone Soup though! Read more
