Reviews for KoSam Korean Restaurant & Bar in Toronto, Ontario
Best Korean restaurant ever!
Amazing food! The kosam honey butter fried chicken is so good, I highly recommend. The service and side dishes are also so delicious! This is my first time coming here and definitely not the last!
I do not write bad reviews unless I feel the place deserves one. I cannot speak for their dining in experience- as I have not dined in there. BUT I can warn you to stay away from delivering there. My partner and I spent 70 dollars in total using ubereats. About $50 ... of it was for the food and not delivery service fees, taxes, tip etc... We only ordered 3 items. Their vegetarian bibimbap, the korean kimchi fried rice and their Tteok-bokki. Each item was almost $20 bucks. And they claimed we each get free side dishes. The Bibimbap barely had rice. Infact for $18, I received what I felt was a child sized bibimbap, with barely any rice ( a few bites of rice!); and a questionable jello food item sitting in the middle of my bibimbap-which I disposed of. The kimchi rice portion was just as small. As someone who has eaten from MANY korean restaurants- I can gurantee this is not the right portion! Usually in any restaurant, I am so filled with the rice portion of the bibimbap-that I am left with 'leftovers'. Now let's get started on their so called free side dishes: We got 4 side dishes. And since we ordered two items on the menu, then keep in mind we both should be receiving enough side dishes for 2 people. Other than the radish kimchi which was filled up, the other 3 side dishes where filled to 1/3 of this small cup. It was a joke! How is this enough for one person, let alone two grown adults. Anyway. This is by far the longest review I have written. For $50 I can get a decent meal elsewhere and my diginity back. AVOID DELIVERING FROM THIS PLACE unless you wanna get ripped off. ;) Read more
The portions were very small. Little to no rice when i ordered from ubereats. Not sure what its like dining there, but getting it delivered was not a great experience, as it the portion size did not equate to the dollar amount. 70 dollars worth of food for whay looked ... like enough food for 1 person (15-20). Not too big a fan of this place Read more
Not wow but worth a try.
