The BEST smoke sAlmOn BagEl in Toronto no doubt!!!!!!! My boyfriend has grabbed me bagels from many different stores across the city and Schmaltz is for certain above any other, both taste and size wise. The salmon is fresh and on the fatty and thick side; the cream cheese has somewhat a ... yogurt-ish freshness and taste to it. The price is on the higher end, with a smoke salmon cream cheese bagel 15 dollars plus tax. But trust me, it’s really worth a try! I am literally not exaggerating when I say I DREAM OF THE CHUB CHUB. Super fresh fish accompanied by refreshing dill cream cheese which perfectly compliments it. Their bagel creations are one of a kind and no other place in Toronto has them. Quite pricey ($16 for a bagel sandwich) ... but that thing is YUUUUUGE and keeps me full till dinner time. Mostly a take out spot because the only seating available is an outdoors patio which is not an option during the winter. Schmaltz is what I wish fat pasha was. Read more
