Teriyaki Experience - Toronto, Ontario

I generally like Teriyaki Experience, however this location is really runned down. The location looks quite dirty and unkept. I felt like I really wasted my money as soon as I made the purchase of a meal. Food was substandard. Disappointing.

Workers do not wear gloves. Workers cross-contaminate different types of meats frequently. Bad hygiene for a restaurant. Decided not to order.

It was my first visit for this concept, usually I order from California Thai at the same food court I ordered the combo plate which is a combination of tempura shrimps , rice veg with chicken and three pcs sushi. I can say that was the poorest meal I ever had ... within 20 years in my life. Dry sushi , tempura shrimp re-fried OILY, The wasabi size smaller than a chick peas and literally two pieces of ginger I asked the guy more wasabi he went to the kitchen and came back after 4 minutes with same quantity I have in my plate . Great spot for lunch if you work in the area. They make a decent meal that is relatively healthy compared to most of the other options. Prices are fair about $10 for a meal.

This is definitely a top-3 location. Well mannered well-presented, the guys put on quite a show preparing the meal. Creates quite a bit of an experience of the Teriyaki Experience. And you better believe the food tasted as good as it look!
