I'm very disappointed that this food place rejected my request to not have Wasabi added to my order due to allergies. When a person is allergic to any ingredients it cannot be just removed because traces can be found in the food. It clearly wasn't a concern for him. The ... young rude, abrupt man behind the counter disregarded my request and told me to move over as people were behind me. He looked to be the son of the owner, mother came to the front from the back and handled cash and went back to cutting vegetables. This is unacceptable. You cannot risk giving a customer food with ingredients that they repeatedly said they're allergic too. A new order should have been placed without Wasabi. Plain and simple. Read more

they had Sushi combination and taste great I suggest to add more spice in the spicy chicken. I will try their tempura which I missed last time. Near to lakeshore to go packaging is 5☆

This is based on my experience in 2022. I'm a big fan of Kibo sushi and it truly is one of the more friendly on your pocket sushi places for me - which I loved as a new student in the city. The then $5 (I now believe $6) cash and ... carry is one of the best things ever. My go-to orders are the California roll and the Spicy salmon roll. Kibo is a great restaurant if you want to pick up something small to go. Their cash and carry is so convenient when you want to scratch that sushi craving! Their platters are a good amount of size, though I prefer the variety from other restaurants nearby, so I often ... stick to the cash and carry, which is still good! The quality of fish is good but nothing amazing, to me. I've had fresher fish and bigger cuts for a better price overall. Amazing sushi - quality and price! The staff was friendly, and the food came quickly. Definitely a new go to spot when I'm craving sushi. Also it's already good value, but you can get 10% off when paying in cash.
