Everything about this bar is freaking awesome! They play the best music, have the friendliest service & food is also delicious. I’ve been here a couple times and it’s always such a vibe - will definitely be going more often. Sy is also the sweetest owner!!!!

Been to hapas a couples of times now and it’s always a great time when I bring friends that aren’t from the city. Their karaoke night is always a good vibe and have great music on Fridays. Servers are always super helpful and friendly.

Ordered the karaage, jerk chicken, lobster Mac n cheese and firework roll. Everything was good except the sushi ironically. Atmosphere was awesome, loved the DJ playing . Service was great and atmosphere was lit.

We were a great fan of Hapa Izakaya 🏮 in Vancouver and was excited to walk past this place. We had to go in. We were told the two locations were owned by different owners but we could see some similarities. First, excellent cocktails. We had a Murasaki Ultra and Tokyo Gentlemen. Second, ... delicious small plates. We had shishito peppers, yuzu red wine avocado salad, and truffled kinoko meshi. Shishito peppers were slightly fried and bite sizes. It increased your appetite. So did yuzu red wine avocado salad. At first, I doubted how the ingredients could fit together, but it turned out a great combinations. Truffled kinoko meshi was the champion of food tonight. It was on a sizzling hot stone bowl. The super heat on the bowl will burn the rice and gave it a crispy texture. Our server did a very good job as well. Awesome food and a great place to eat, laugh and chill but with quality food and great staff :) Visiting from out of town can’t wait to come back already.
