We had a gift card to burn so we went with the Nikkei Deluxe and Nikei III menu. Everything was so good, especially the yellow tail sashimi and the rolls. The wagyu beef and lamb chops were also really tender and juicy. We were glad the ambience is a mix ... of fancy dine-in and casual bar-type so we could be comfortable as we like. It is definitely pricey, but it was worth it. Restaurant has a unique interior, great atmosphere and modern music. Waitresses was very attentive. Have been here twice: once for my partner’s work party and then again for a follow up dinner to try more of the menu! The atmosphere is really cool, with unique graffiti and decor that is modern and lively. The servers are knowledgeable and the dishes are tasty. Definitely a ... place to come and share plates to try more of the menu. The mix of Peruvian/Japanese cuisine is unique. Just note that this is not a cheap night out. Read more

Service and vibe were exceptionly good!!! We love the decor, the music (there was a DJ-wow), and the location is in the center. Unfortunately, the food (set menu III) wasn't impressed. Even though it's advertised to be Peruvian- Japanese inspired, except for the name of the restaurant, the menu & ... the dishes, we could taste very little Japanese there which felt like fault advertising. Out of the menu, only 1 dish was really good, and the rest was either decent or a bit disappointing. The server tried hard when he saw that we left the last 2 dishes almost untouched and brought a compliment drink & special dessert. Would come back for drinks and other small dishes, but kind of regret, we ordered the whole set menu😆 To conclude, the only unsatisfactory matter was the food, but all and all, it was worth visiting. Had their Nikkei III menu. Really cool atmosphere (a bit loud/bar-like), excellent service. Especially enjoyed the desserts. Found that they were fresh and complex. Their lamb was tender, juicy, fall off the bone. Not a massive fan of the asparagus sushi (yep, you read that right), but I can understand that they're trying ... to pull off unlikely flavour combinations. Overall a good experience. I would come back to experience their brunch menu, which is known to be even better than their great dinner experience! Read more
