Ordered large jerk chicken, which was lacking coleslaw and gravy. BUT, chicken was juicy and delicious. Good amount of food and affordable prices. Honest cashier over charged me extra for bottle of peanut punch when I ordered the grace peanut punch in a box. Gave me my money back which ... was a plus. Would come back again Read more

The food is very good. This is my favorite place to buy jerk food every time I visit Toronto west end. The attitude of servers at 90% of Jamaican restaurants has to change. I purchased meals asking for oxtail gravy and was told it would be about 1 dollar more ... . I agree to the price ,I got home and couldn't find the gravy I paid extra for. What is going on here. Food taste nice. I'm eating this curry goat dinner an I find a piece of metal in the food. Thank God I didn't swallow this piece of metal shred to go down my throat. I take my picture of the meal with the shred to ... find my husband looking through reviews to also see someone else comment a review of the same issue. I create this review to also warn others to beware of this food that can potentially do you serious harm to your body. This food here can send you to the nearest hospital. I want to warn anyone that buys this food to take great caution when going to eat from here. I love me some curry goat, again it tastes great but I cannot accept finding metal shred In my food. I'm surprised to see another person having the exact same problem as myself. That's even more scary. Will not be eating here and I hope they change the cook and or management so that they don't kill anyone who decides to eat their food. My work would always buy lunch from here on fridays but recently stopped doing it as often. I've noticed that many things have changed throughout the years. Many comments have mentioned the customer service. It was way better before, like 3-5 years ago when there was an older lady along with ... some other young ladies working there. I'm not sure if she moved to the new location when it was opened or not. Food wise, a lot of our staff always ordered curry goat. I have to say that for the past few months, it's a hit or miss. The gravy has a lot of oil, and sometimes, they drown the rice in it, and sometimes, they don't. Don't get me wrong, their food is good but not the same as it used to be. Read more
