Beyond disappointed I was in the area and wanted something nice to eat. I was a bit skeptical when i walked in but i decided to take a chance which i greatly regret now. The jerk chicken was unacceptably cold and not tasty at all, Patty was awakful, however the pudding ... cake or whatever its called was not bad. The jerk chicken tasted like some spicy fried meat. Monday February 28 2022, 2PM (~$16): Ordered the small jerk chicken meal with rice and peas, oxtail gravy and a spicy beef patty. Haven't been here for 4+ years, I am impressed on the renovation that they did. Place now looks modern and most importantly CLEAN compared to how it was previously. Staff as usual is working at the back unless they are serving customers at the front. • Ring the bell ... by the cash register counter for service if nobody is there or else you could be waiting for a while before staff notices you * [ Jerk chicken + Rice&peas w/ oxtail gravy (small) ] - Don't be fooled by the size of the box, they fill the box all the way up. Jerk pork and coco bread review: this is basically the only item I get here but one of these days I'll try their patties and other dishes. They have the best jerk pork imo. You get the classic jerk seasoning and I love that they add some heat to it. ... The pork is thick cut and tender, and has a good amount of fat. You can ask for coleslaw or more spice as well. I tried the small jerk chicken with rice and peas. It's boneless, skin-on, good portion sizes, nice amount of heat, but I found it to be overly salty. Amazing place to get Patties in the Greater Toronto Area. Growing up in Toronto I have been able to try Beef Patties on and off since not much halal options but this is by far the most unique in taste. Loved the Spicy Beef Pattie here and it was very ... unique and tasty. A couple of notes about the Beef Patties here, they are not oily, they don’t cause a mess when you eat them, and their taste is absolutely incredible. Many options to purchase Patties here. I know they have Mild Beef Patties, Spicy Beef Patties, and Chick Patties here as well. Best of all is that this place is Halal for patties.
