My husband and I visited Napoli a few years ago and tasted their authentic pizza at the famous L'Antica Pizzeria da Michele. Viva Napoli's pizza reminded us of the perfectly cooked soft dough, delicious San Marzano tomatoes sauce and fior di latte mozzarella. Paired very well with the house wine. ... The very pleasant, and attentive, servers took time to explain what to expect regarding the crust and Napoli style of pizza. We enters shortly after a large table so had to wait a little bit for the pizza’s but the wait was worth it and the severs made sure we were kept informed of status of food The pizzas came piping hot and dressed as expected for Napoli style pizza. They were ALL delicious and the ingredients tasted fresh and the pizzas overall were very authentic. Decided to give this pizza joint a try after reading some reviews on it very hard to find a good wood oven Napoletana Pizza in the Toronto are. Was very busy we did not have reservations but we were seated quickly ordered some Focaccia for appetizers and ordered a pizza. I ... understand the place was very busy and the pizza ovens only fit so many pizzas in them but it was a pretty lengthy wait. Pizza was good as they used Doppiozero flower and San Marzano tomatoes. The first bite the pizza was very doughy but I got I got custom to that type of dough and enjoyed the rest of my pie. Best pizza I ever had. The tomato sauce is out of this world and all the other ingredients are perfect. Margherita is a must try! Owner very friendly walked between tables and chatted with us for a bit. Service was great as well. Free dessert!
