I tried the eggplant parm sandwich. I thought the flavours were decent but the eggplant was very under-cooked and chewy. Not very pleasant. The bun was inexpensive and fell apart immediately. Going with a lesser quality bun is a mistake many of these places make. I will say that the ... service was very friendly and warm but it unfortunately couldn't save the food. We had a bit of a wait here. I think about 25 minutes but you could visibly note that the kitchen was behind on orders. It was worth it though, the sandwiches were warm and tasty and well built. ******* So after my below original complaint a few weeks ago. Management said to contact their HR department to discuss further. I did so, and they have yet to respond or contact me back. No offer of discount or to try another sandwich as they stated below ⬇️. ... It's unfortunate they are only concerned about how they appear online and not concerned about the products they are selling. They could do so much better..... If you want a California sandwich alternative, this isn't it. Too mch bread, not enough meat. Over priced for the amount you get. Taste wasn't bad but needed more. Very clean place. Food is fantastic. You do have to wait a bit as they prepare them after you order but it’s worth the wait because of the freshness. Adequate seating area both in and outside the restaurant. Very friendly staff and prices are affordable.
