The Old Spaghetti Factory offers decent food, though not on par with authentic Italian restaurants. What stood out were the free refill bread and generous sides included with meals. The restaurant's decor is charming, adding to the overall experience. Service was friendly and attentive.

Food here is just above average but the decor and ambiance sure make up for it. As soon as you enter the restaurant, you feel like you entered a world of imagination and surreal stories. Everything seems to have a story behind it and it makes you want to become a ... child again and listen to every single one of them. Enough about the environment, the food was OK, the pasta was a bit greasy for my taste but their house wine was great. Service was quick too. Definitely recommended for a fun experience. I brought m family here from out of town and it did not disappoint. The main courses were amazing and big portions! The endless bread with garlic butter is so good! The only downfall was the Caesar salad was dry with barely any dressing at all. But overall the place ... is beautiful and the staff were very friendly! Nice environment, average food, bad service. I came to this place with my friends today. We had been looking forward to this gathering for a long time and made a reservation a week in advance. However, when we sat down, an older white waiter named Tim made our experience very bad. ... He had a bad attitude, impatiently took down our orders, and kept asking us repeatedly what we wanted to drink. When we expressed our desire for dessert to be served last and food to be served first, he kept repeating the question and emphasized when the drinks would be served. I found it very strange, after all, it is normal to drink while eating. When he asked us what tea we would like to order, I said Hot Tea because it was written on the menu. He kept asking me what tea I wanted without telling me there were choices. When I asked him what tea he had or what tea he recommended, he replied, "I don't drink tea, I don't know. I have never drunk tea." His attitude was very unprofessional and rude, which made us feel very uncomfortable. My friend even asked me, "Why is he so angry?" When Tim came to our table for the second time, he asked us again about our pasta and tea orders, completely ignoring our previous conversation. My friend is a very kind person; she patiently repeated her order. Then, Tim started chatting loudly at the table next to us, so loud that we couldn't hear each other's conversation. I felt very uncomfortable, so I went to the manager and asked to change seats. We changed tables afterward. The service was taken over by a young male waiter, who was very gentlemanly and wore a mask, but his tone was always friendly. This made me feel very disconnected, and I couldn't believe that this was the staff of the same restaurant. When I talked to other staff, they said that Tim had a strong personality. But in my opinion, it was not a strong personality, it was rude. I saw on social media that the environment of this restaurant is very special, so I invited friends from abroad to come together. But this experience made them very disappointed. I will not come here a second time, and I don't recommend anyone to come here to enjoy the afternoon. If you just want to take pictures, you can come once. But if you want to enjoy a leisurely afternoon with friends or family, I don't recommend it. Read more

What a historic place in the Downtown Toronto vicinity. I hadn’t visited this place for so many years since I was a little kid and from what I can remember it’s almost exactly the same which is pretty awesome and brought back so many great memories. The atmosphere makes the ... experience the most memorable. The service was good overall and the food was slightly above average but the prices were more than fair for what you get which is why is still give them a 5 star rating even though you can find better Italian style food elsewhere. Main course prices were about $20-$30 per person and included fresh baked bread and garlic butter which was awesome, soup or salad and a small dessert as well all in the price of the meal which I thought was a great offer and I commend this restaurant for still providing a great value to families even though prices have inflated ridiculously everywhere else. Due to this factor alone I would definitely recommend people to give this place a try as I know I will be returning more often myself because we had an enjoyable time here. Read more
