Relatively new to the neighbourhood and have been meaning to eat here for at least 6 months - seriously exceeded expectations. One of the best ravioli experiences I've had, and easily the warmest atmosphere I've yet to experience in Corso...my family will be back often.
Went there on Thursday evening amidst the conundrum on St. Clair Avenue - Portugal won over Poland at football - European. The service was decent. For a starter, I had the simple salad. It comprised the outer leaves of romaine lettuce (hard), some radicchio leaves, slices of ... cucumber (soggy) and wedges of tomato (seeds in). The dressing was tasty but it was not worth the $10 - overpriced. For the main, I had fettuccine, with clams in sauce of garlic, white wine and lemon. It was delicious, but I thought not enough for the $18 I spent, at the time. But ones eyes are usually larger than one's stomach. To end, I ordered the tiramisu. Disgusting. It was so soggy, but not with liquor - water. My sense is that it was sitting in a freezer and then thawed. In a nice way, I expressed my dislike and the chef offered something complimentary but I turned it down. I was already turned off. Having said all of that though, it was my third time and the experiences before were favourable. This might have been a one off. I would try it again. Read more

My first order in this restaurant was the spinach gnocchi. I thought that it was not bad and decided to try another dish. I ordered the ravioli with squash and absolutely hated it! I couldn’t even eat more than two bites. Both of my orders were via uberEats, perhaps the ... quality they send out versus eat-ins is different. Either way I don’t want to find out. Read more
