Overview

Varietals: 100% Cortese Straw-yellow with notes of stone fruit on the nose following through to citrus and meadow flowers on the palate. Fresh, crisp and elegant in an effortless way; this is an exceptionally beautiful representation of the area. Ageing: The hand-picked grapes thrive on the family owned hillsides, well exposed to the sun and coastal breezes. Harvest is immediately followed by soft pressing and “in bianco” vinification at controlled temperatures in stainless steel vats. No malolactic fermentation.

2021 ‘Frassitelli’ Biancolella Ischia DOC, Casa d’Ambra, Campania_750ml (12.5% ABV)

Varietals: 100% Biancolella. Fruit is sourced from a single four-hectare vineyard on a steep cliff overlooking the Mediterranean; an example of "extreme viticulture" given the challenges of harvesting in these conditions. Straw yellow with golden highlights; the bouquet shows yellow fruit, herbs and notes of sea salt and honey. The wine is as unique as it is beautiful. Ageing: 8 months in stainless steel with malolactic fermentation.

2019 "Suliccenti' Grillo Sicilia DOC, Tenute di Giurfo, Sicilia_750 ml (ABV 13%)

Varietals: 100% Grillo Description: Straw yellow with jasmine and exotic fruit on the nose. Fresh, fruity and dry with well balanced acidity. Suliccènti, in the dialect of eastern Sicily, signifies ‘sun from the west’. Vinification/Ageing: 5-7 day maceration on skins. Fermentation in stainless steel with 4-6 months ageing in steel followed by refining in bottle. Ageing: Fermentation at a controlled temperature in cement vats and stainless steel tanks. The wine is left on the lees until the beginning of March.

2020 'Belsito' Vittoria DOC, Terre di Giurfo, Sicilia_750 ml (ABV 13%)

Varietals: 100% Frappato Description: An excellent example of this native Sicilian varietal, Belsito has all the spice, red licorice, incense and wild berry character of a true Frappato. Medium bodied with finely integrated tannins. Drink it slightly chilled to highlight all of its refreshing qualities. fruity finish. Vinification/Ageing: Fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks.

2020 'Filari Corti' Nebbiolo Langhe DOC, Brandini, Piemonte_750ml (14.5% ABV)

Varietals: 100% Nebbiolo (Organic) Typical garnet Nebbiolo colour. The nose has great depth with notes of rose, oregano and mushroom. On the palate, the body is firm with bright acidity, fine-grained tannins, and complexity. Ageing: Spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Followed by the ageing for 12 months in big barrels before bottling.

2020 ‘Merula’ Salento Rosso IGT, Carvinea, Puglia_750ml (14% ABV)

Varietals: 100% Montepulciano. From the local dialect “Merula” meaning blackbird, this is a tribute to the birds that appear every year on the vineyards at the end of the harvest. A deep ruby red wine with notes of berries, licorice, and dark chocolate. Slight minerality on the nose with a firm and persistent structure, enriched by a fresh peppermint finish. Ageing: Maceration with the skins lasts 25 days. Aged in new French barrique for 8-10 months, then 15 months in the bottle before release.

2018 'Moliss' Barbera d'Asti Superiore DOCG, Agostino Pavia & F.lli, Piemonte_750ml (ABV 14%)

100% Barbera Tasting Note: Intense ruby red with violet reflections. Bouquet of raspberries with a hint of herbs. On the palate the wine is broad and well-structured with good acidity, and a long persistent finish. An immensely versatile food wine. Vinification/Ageing: A single vineyard Barbera made from old vines and aged partly in large Austrian oak barrels and partly in smaller 500-litre casks over 12 months, followed by blending in stainless steel vats prior to bottling.

Varietals: 100% Sangiovese Description: Ruby-red colored. This wine develops fruity and floral notes. The nose reveals hints of rose, cherry and sweet spices. It is a full-bodied wine of quick and easy approach which demonstrates how the Sangiovese can also be soft and pleasant, far from any roughness and aggressiveness. Ageing/Vinification: Fermented at a controlled temperature with maceration on the skins for about three weeks with punching down at regular intervals. Short passage in oak barrels followed by bottle ageing before sale.

2017 Alta Langa Brut DOCG Brandini, Piemonte_750ml (13% ABV)

Varietals: 85% Pinot Nero, 15% Chardonnay. Scents of bread crust are perfectly blended with floral notes and hints of candied fruit. The very low sugar residue enhances elegance and finesse, character and persistence. Ageing: Primary alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperature, cleaning of the base, Charmat method secondary fermentation for 30 days followed by minimum 30 days on the lees.

NV Franciacorta Rosé, DOCG Contadi Castaldi, Lombardia_750ml (13% ABV)

Varietals: 65% Chardonnay, 35% Pinot Nero. Coral pink, very bright, with a fine and persistent perlage. An original Franciacorta in a modern style, making skilful use of the Pinot nero grapes. The nose features distinct notes of wild berries, fresh rose petals, hints of apple and tropical fruit. Structured palate, crisp and sapid. The finish is long and well balanced. Ageing: 20 day fermentation in stainless steel tank followed by partial malolactic fermentation. Refinement for 7 months, partly in stainless steel and partly in barrique. Aged on the lees for 24-30 months with an additional 3-4 months ageing in bottle before release.

I've visited this charming Italian spot twice for coffee chats with clients. It offers the perfect blend of lively ambiance and privacy. The cafe and bar are downstairs, while the restaurant is upstairs. The staff are welcoming, and their coffee is excellent. They frequently have freshly baked cookies and sourdough ... bread available for purchase. Overall, it's a fantastic place to meet and relax. Read more

One of the best Italian restaurants in town. A couple of appetizers are a bit salty. My favorites are the sea bass and our mini desert mix. Great dining experience. Highly recommended.

Went for lunch with colleagues. It was a very popular spot in the are and I quickly found out why. The food was very tasty and the price was reasonable. The service staff were friendly and attended to us in a quick and efficient manner. I will be returning.

Went out as a party of 10 for a birthday dinner and staff were very accommodating. Place is visually appealing and has a relaxing vibe. Server was very polite, food came out in a timely manner and there were no issues with any dishes. Only minor complaint is the Bombolin ... dessert was a little dry, other than that this place was great for an evening out! Read more

The food is always good here, this is my second time visiting and definitely won’t be the last. Servers are friendly and helpful. Recommend dishes would be duck ravioli and risotto. They have great cocktails and have an amazing patio for the summer, good place to spend some time with ... friends and family. Read more
