Our experience as soon as we walked through the doors was great. We didn’t wait to be seated and with my dad in a wheelchair the accommodation was superb. Dennis was an awesome server, he was very attentive and anticipated our needs. He would always check up on us and ... always approached us with a smile! First time visiting this place, and it was a last-minute choice suggested by one of our friends. The food was excellent for an Italian restaurant in Scarborough. We really enjoyed both the food and drinks, and the service was commendable. Despite it being a weekend, we were seated very quickly. Honestly, I wasn’t thrilled about coming here for dinner, but the staff and the food definitely helped in changing my mind about it by the end of the night. As someone who prefers more spicy foods, I didn’t know if I’d enjoy the flavour profiles that are offered at Scaddabush, ... but I’m pleased to say I wasn’t disappointed. The food itself was amazing. Our waiter was so nice and let me order from the kids menu since I wanted to try the mango orange drink (bomb btw) and assured me it’s not just for kids. Our food also came quickly and portion sizes were huge. I probably only ate a quarter of my pasta and that was with me coming with an empty stomach and starved after a long day at the mall. So you really won’t need to order more, and can even share the dish comfortably among 2-3 people. The waiter we had was such a fun and friendly server. We had quite the time trying to pay (paying cash) and figuring out how certain things were split. We were all laughing and joking through the entire thing. It had such a chic and comfortable candlelight atmosphere and was a very pleasant experience. I’m not so sure how this would bode for a family coming in for dinner since it did have a very romantic, low lit atmosphere about it, but it’s perfect for a dinner date. Definitely worth it a visit!
