Quaint little restaurant on Lakeshore blvd. Nice atmosphere. Food was excellent with large portions. Tony, our server was efficient and pleasant. As you can see by the attached pictures, portions of food filled our plates. One of the elderly employees walked around and played live music alternating between an accordion ... and a guitar. I Loved this place. It’s in my neighborhood but I haven’t had a chance to try it before. It’s cozy and clean. Pizza and pasta are tasty. Service is fast and everyone is so welcoming. I will definitely will be coming again.
It is genuine Italian decor for fine dining. And service was very custodial for accommodating of our reservation of ten adults. Drinks were quick to be served. But the food, even the appetizers, was very slow to come--almost 45 minutes. The main course was almost an ... hour and fifteen minutes. So maybe the cooking staff is not enough, but the food for everyone of our dinner party was lovingly and heartily prepared. Delicious Italian fare for fine mid town dining. Read more
It’s rare I feel feel to sure on 5⭐️ Food, 5⭐️ Service and 5⭐️ Atmosphere but Pulcinella not only makes it a quick easy answer but if I could I’d give them bonus ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Pulcinella personably answered my 📞 of curiosity and welcomed us to join and assured a spot would ... be made available for us. Upon entry, the lighting was perfect, the mild live accordion player added the right volume and entertainment to aid to the ambiance and the no wait no hassle approach from our incredible server Ardian who was quick to set up a table for two set the tone and a smile on our faces from the beginning. Ardian was perhaps the most attentive server experienced, never leaving us with an empty glass, plate or a curious menu thought longer than a few seconds. How he did that I still don’t know! While we planned on coming in for an appetizer and a main, we ended up fully relaxing and welcoming the entire authentic Italian experience from the bubbly water, to the pinot Grigio which was smooth and delicious, and complimented our meals perfectly. We then opted for some calamari to start along with a kale Caesar salad with smoked bacon. We then had some gnocchi we also shared and then onto our mains; chicken piccata and veal marsala. Both perfect and scrumptious to the last bite. It didn’t stop there, we needed to finish our remaining bottle of vino with a couple of lava cakes 🤤. I found myself reviling in the fact that each course came with a new set of cutlery wrapped in a new cloth napkin, and I never had to place a dirty fork on the table for a plate change nor did I need to keep a napkin for the next dish… although I did, I just added them 😝. All in all, thank you Ardian for a marvellous job, a 10/10 experience and shared memory as well as now having a new favourite date spot! See you again! Read more
It's a nice restaurant. Lots of seats, a couple bars. They even have a patio. The portions were good and the food tasted alright. My pasta tasted good but was a little soupy for my liking...hey maybe some people may like it like that.
