Great tasting food. Friendly staff that will crack jokes with you but on a genuine level. The prices are a bit higher than what you'd expect to pay, but then again it's what I call a "downtown tax". I had the steak which was delicious. However be prepared they it ... won't be cooked to your liking as I had asked for a medium rare but got medium well. Cheese board was very tasty. Cocktails were yum. Service started out a bit cold but they warmed up mid-meal. Pasta and risotto were full of seafood as ordered. We set out to eat at Carisma but they were full and recommended we try Mercatto - we're glad we did.

Really great service, good food. Good ambiance. Reservations are highly recommended.

This Mercatto is definitely not as nice as the others (specifically the one on Bremner). The service was subpar, and it felt like the server was doing his chores when you asked for anything. The food was decent, but nothing spectacular. This menu is also limited compared to the others.

Great place for business lunches or dinner. It has has enough room for large groups. Both appetizers and main course are really great. Li Both pizza and pasta dishes are great and quite a few options are available.
