I was there for a joint retirement party. The food was great with lots of vegetable options. The staff were so quiet you didn't know they were there. They collected plates and refilled water jugs without being asked.
So full! My buddy said that he had a hidden gem Italian place he recommends and it turns out famous people have been here like the Trudeaus! Not getting political, but it's a rub if your restaurant gets attention from important figures. Appetizers: Free Bread with butters, olive oil and vinaigrette (8.1/10). ... There's a table service fee of $1.25 not that it matters, so it's not really "free". Never had bread with the oil and vinaigrette which was good am it enhances the dining experience. They give out an assortment of different breads as well. Antipasto (8.1/10). Cauliflower, olives, sliced meats, mushrooms, bell pepper and other vegetables that pair well. Sliced Salmon with grapes, sliced onion and a garnish (forgot the name😅)(9.3/10). Unique to me. Very good and I could eat like 4 plates of this. Never thought salmon paired well with grapes, but it does. Will get again and I'm not a salmon fan. Main: Veal Parmigiana (8.7/10) with Cheesy Penne Pasta (8.9/10). Best veal I've had and it was huge! No joke at least 15-16 inches in diameter! Great sauce. It toughened a little as it cooled, but that's not really a knock because it took me some time to eat including me sharing some with friends. 😆 Pasta was light cheesy and went down easy. Would definitely recommend and I was super full. Virgin Fruit Punch (5.1/10). They offered a fruit punch mixed with alcohol and I got a non-alcoholic version. It tasted more like orange juice🤔. Lasagna - I tried some of my friend's because the waitor called it "best in town". I don't think I could fairly review it based on the amount that I had. It tasted amazing and might just be the best lasagna I've ever had. Noodles were thin and light and had a fantastic taste. My friend's also ordered manicotti which looked amazing. The both also got a cappuccino to end things off which they both referred to as either the best or one of the best they've ever had. This is the best Italian food and Italian dining experiences I've had to date. The owner also comes out and chats with customers and she's very friendly. Sounds like she's probably retiring soon, so get here while you can! I'll definitely be back as soon as I can. Read more
