Saturday summer dinner with friends. Great restaurant and atmosphere, good service with delicious food. I was surprised how quiet it was for a weekend, we were pretty much the only table that night (must be the pandemic). I was able to try their Pesto Gemilli pasta that included chicken, cherry tomatoes, ... basil and caramelized onions. The flavour awesome and pesto sauce was creamy, blended well throughout. As for pizzas, they were great. The Fig pizza had a good balance of savory from the Prosciutto and sweetness from the fig and honey. High Park pizza had a nice spicy kick, and the Lambretta had a fresh arugula taste topped with their tomato sauce. Definitely recommend this Italian spot. Read more
So I decided to try local Roncy pizzeria, Lambretta. I knew the first moment I walked in and saw their pizza oven that I was going to like it. Pizza Napolitana is my favourite style so it was likely an easy 5 🌟. What I ordered: 1 x Old Fashion 1 x Arancini 1 x ... Pepperoni Pizza What I liked: Service ✅ service was great. I sat at the bar since I was dining alone. Nice vibe to the restaurant as it got busy during the lunch hours. Arancini ✅ I was glad I ordered them. Delivered on what I expected. Just check the photos I took. 👀 Chilli Citrus Oil ✅ this was a new one for me. I’ve had chilli oil but the citrus was a nice addition and added to the overall flavour of the pizza. Delicious! Pizza ✅ the pizza for me was a standard Neapolitan. Crust, Sauce, Cheese & Pepperoni we’re all very good. I would likely order this again if I came back. Just look at the photos, it doesn’t get much better than that. What could’ve been better: Old Fashion ❌ cocktail was alright. In hindsight, I wish I ordered a beer but I wanted to see their approach to the cocktail. It’s not the best one I’ve ever had but also not the worst. No garnish! 🤷🏾♂️ I would definitely return to Lambretta if I was in the area and you should give them a try! They have a ton of interesting menu items!!! 💯 Read more
We've tried Good Fellas before, but Lambretta Pizzeria has its own unique taste. The first impression of the restaurant is its vintage vibe and the cleanliness of the place. We ordered the Pesto and the Lambretta pizza. They both went well with the soda chinotto. I didn't like my Mimosa ... that much due to the bitterness, but that's my own preference. Overall, a very nice place to visit. Read more
Excellent place for thin crust pizza. I visited with family and was very satisfied with the experience. The restaurant is clean, open, and welcoming. Staff was friendly and helpful. I ordered the Tomato and Basil salad, as well as the Diavola pizza. I love spicy food and though the Diavola ... did satisfy that itch, but was otherwise a bit on the plain side. Having said that, I also tried the Pollo E Pesto, and the Fig Pizza. Both of those were excellent. The salad was fresh and had the right amount of dressing. The kitchen, dominated by the large oven was open for all to see and my son, as well as myself, enjoyed watching our meals being prepared from the level above. I would definitely recommend Lambretta if you're looking for a good thin crust pizza, and I would be happy to return the next time I'm in the area. Read more
The Ravioli (butternut squash & brie cheese stuffed pasta in an apple/sage brown butter) consists of 10 pieces of packaged, grocery store pasta cooked in oil, not butter, with one sage leaf. It's a ripoff at $30 with tax and tip ($3/piece). The empty plate proves it's oil because butter solidifies ... on cooling. Read more
