Saturday night. Completely empty. I started wondering why this nice restaurant is empty like that. I ordered a pizza to go. When I get home, what a surprise, the pizza was completely horrible. We came in on a Sunday night, around 6:30, and much to surprise, the place was empty. Not a single patron but us. The waitress who sat us down was very sweet and caring. We started wondering why we were the only ones. The place is gorgeous, wonderful ambiance... it didn't ... make sense. We looked at the reviews, while most were 5 stars, there is also a significant number of bad reviews and we started getting skeptical. As it turns out we had a perfect experience. The food was fresh, delicious. Rivals the Italian restaurant we go to back home. I still don't understand why it wasn't a packed night, but we for sure can vouch that this was one of the best food experiences we have had. Read more

Went for dinner last night and had an amazing experience. Our server was great. We had the bruschetta and minestrone soup to start both were great. And both had pasta for our mains and were very impressed. Added to that the atmosphere of the dining area was excellent. I just wanted to post this review of Il Fornaro. We were a group of 13 for a special dinner and we had an amazing experience. All of the food that ordered was amazing. Everything was served fresh and hot. Everyone was saying that their food tasted like home cooked. Personally, I ... had the Gnocchi and it was great. We ordered a margarita pizza for takeout. What came was a cheese pizza with shredded (what I assume to be) basil leaves. Frozen lasagnas from Longos taste and look better than what this place gave us. Save yourself…DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE!!!!
