Gusto 101 - Toronto, Ontario

I ordered truffle pasta, burrata with foccacia bread, calamari, Brussel sprouts, pizza, and a tropical cocktail. The food and service were impeccable. I have never been disappointed by this restaurant. I am already looking forward to coming back to try more items on the menu.

One of my favourite spots in the King West neighbourhood. Surprisingly, Gusto also has one of the best burgers in the city and is a must try if you make the trip there. While you're at it the Gusto House Red wine is amazing and easily the best I've ever ... tasted...great on either on a chilly day and served chilled on a nice summer day (ideally on their upstairs patio). Overall experience was not bad. Quite unsure what the mafalde ai funghi “truffle pasta” is popular.. The sauce tasted like mushroom soup with added garlic powder. Not truffle at all. I still enjoyed it but not what I quite expected. The calamari was honestly the best out of all. The risotto verde ... was tasted like it looked and the “dalia” margarita was good but not $20 good. We cancelled our pizza due to the underwhelming taste of the pasta. $128 w tax for two drinks, two pastas, and one appetizer. Love the rooftop seating. Mushroom pasta is so good. And great selection of wines. For pizza, we asked our server for recommendations and she was super helpful. Hoping to try more items during our next visit

Food was good, the pasta was the perfect Al dents. However, the service was only alright. We waited 20 minutes for a dessert menu but otherwise no problems. The upstairs is quite nice in terms of atmosphere but it was surprisingly empty even though I witnessed them turn walk in ... guests away. Overall, a good experience.
