Reviews for Fusilli Restaurant in Toronto, Ontario
A nice and small little restaurant tucked away on Queen Street. It reminded me of the restaurants in Italy. The food was delicious, perfectly portioned, fresh and well presented. My parents who are generally not very big eaters found it to be just the right amount of food. Service was attentive ... and phenomenal. Will be back to try other items on the menu. Read more
It’s a little cozy restaurant in the heart of downtown with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Stopped by for a drink. The service and interaction was kind and respectful.
My wife and I have tried every restaurant in Regent Park and Cabbage town, and this one is one of the best, if not the best. We went here a couple months ago. We were warmly greeted by the owner, seated promptly based on our request, and were waited on ... hand and foot by the owner himself. The food was delicious. The prices were reasonable for our budget as students (at the time) who like to treat ourselves once in a while. We will be heading back here for birthdays, anniversaries, and when family from out of town visits, we will be treating them at Fusilli! Five star all around. Read more
This place was ultimately disappointing. They market themselves as a nice Italian restaurant which implies quality Italian food. I was pleased with the price of the bruschetta, which was nice. Good blend of spices (generous with the oregano and garlic). The real reason for the 3 stars was the pizza. It was ... disappointing - tasted like what you’d get at a supermarket. For a restaurant claiming to “specialize in southern Italian cuisine” serving “stone oven pizzas” (quotes from their website) this was an utter embarrassment. The cheese on the pizza was as thick as the dough itself (see the photos). It was sloppily thrown together with the seasonings all over the place. The cheese overpowered everything - I don’t know if I’d even serve this to a child. I don’t like to be too negative. They did have a very nice patio type thing which had nice music. Overall a great vibe. The server was timid but friendly & attentive. No complaints there! The pasta was tasty, but nothing special. Definitely overpriced though! You’d think for $25 you’d get more pasta. If you go here, stay away from the pizza - unless you have the taste buds of an 8 year old. Read more
Hidden gem! Wouldn’t have known it was there if I hadn’t walked past. Great gluten free tasty pasta. Simple fresh ingredients. Staff treated you like family
