Famoso Neapolitan Pizzeria - Toronto, Ontario

Here is my first choice! I love an Italian cuisine. This place is amazing. The service is wonderful. If I want to enjoy a great meal, this is my place. Their pizza, pasta, meatballs…OMG!

Be wary ordering from here when using delivery apps. They chose to package my pizza and soup in a way that left both on their side. Came to me cold and inedible. I don’t know why any pizzeria would be so careless with how they send out their food. Also ... missed order notes about the crispy pancetta with the Caesar salad, and received a bowl of just romaine and about 2 croutons. I’ve dined in before and it was delicious. It is a cozy neighbourhood pizza restaurant where you can watch as your pizza is hand made and then fired up in the oven in an open concept kitchen. The service was helpful and friendly. The pizza is fresh because of the ingredients and the care in making it. The 15” large ... is quite big and get ready to ask for a takeout box. My margherita pizza was delightful. The dough tasted airy and freshly made. The sauce was well balanced. I enjoyed it. My wife tried the Tuscan Forno pizza and it was fresh and tasty. I popped in an hour before closing, grabbed a seat by the bar, and was impressed with how fast the food arrived. Within 15 minutes of ordering, the food arrived and was plated nicely. The atmosphere on Thursday night was energetic and friendly with soft playing music in the background. The service ... was efficient, and the food calmed my hanger. The pasta dish was not the best thing I ever had; however, this is a pizza joint, so it's to be expected. Famoso pizza is thin on the bottom with a tasty chewy crust. They have great happy hour special prices on drinks and always a few discounted drinks all night. The sangria is good, was a little sweet, but I loved the berries. The peach salad with Gorgonzola and nuts is ... refreshing, and crisp lettuce. They have a nice patio but no heaters (at least not in early September). Highly recommend to dine here. Read more
