One of the most bizarre/uncomfortable eating experiences the neighborhood has to offer!! a place where the Open sign is never switched off! If you choose to dine in, prepare to be the only customers in the restaurant for the duration of the meal. The owners, an elderly Italian couple are very ... sweet, but you get the feeling you are in their living room as the older man will be sitting in the corner watching TV while his wife does all of the table service and waiting. This would not be such a big deal... but the dining room is very small, and occasionally there are other family members with the man just watching the TV which makes it feel really uncomfortable to be the only actual customers in the room. If you decide to do takeout, you will likely be dealing with a woman who I can only presume is the daughter of the owners, who has the capability to be very standoffish and rude at the drop of a hat. The food itself is very hit or miss. The gnocchi and lasagna are both good and taste like quality, authentic home-cooked food, while the Pizza and meatballs are some of the worst I have had in the city. both lacked flavor and taste like borderline store bought frozen junk. So if you feel sitting in your grandparents living room, complete with dusty 1970's decor or arguing with a lady over majorly sub-par pizza, this place is for you! Read more

I've been walking past this place for years and finally tried it today. The pasta was absolutely amazing! I had the gnocchi with rose sauce, and my boyfriend had the rigatoni with sausage. The pizza sauce cheese and salami was amazing but the dough could be improved. I'll definitely go ... back again I genuinely feel good about giving my business to this elderly couple who've been in business for over 45 years. Great place for a no frills, cozy, home style meal. The owners are fantastic. They are an elderly couple (probably in their 80’s) that you can tell really appreciate your business. Love this place! The little old couple who work here are adorable and very friendly. Relaxing chilled out atmosphere. I got pizza with pepperoni, bacon, ham, and ground beef and it was amazing!
