The restaurant has a great atmosphere. The food is solid. The pasta is very well done. The pizza is ok. Nothing jumps out here but it is solid classic dishes. There is a great collection of wine. The cocktail list is ok. There is not much in terms of beer ... selection. The service leaves much to be desired. The server was absent for most of the dinning experience. Just had the experience at Cibo Wine bar. It's atmosphere is captivating and all the decoration is well planned. The food is extremely good. We had pizzas as today is pizza Tuesday (pizzas at 50%), and both the Mozzarella di Bufala and the Gorgonzola were amazing. The Peroni beer draught ... were a good pairing with the pizza. Pizza has gotta be one of my favourite foods. So when I hear about a place that specializes in pizza and offers 50% off on Tuesday, yup I’m definitely interested! I came here with some friends for dinner because of their promotion. I did scout out the menu beforehand and there ... were definitely some pizzas that sounded delicious. The atmosphere inside is quite nice. I feel this is a nice date spot for sure and clearly also a place to just go and enjoy food with friends. The vibes inside the Yorkville location are quite upscale, I loved it! For pizzas, our party of 5 decided to get multiple and all share. We ordered the Americana, the Diavolo, the Mortadella and the Gorgonzola. Personally I was pleasantly surprised by the Gorgonzola! It was a very enjoyable pizza, even with the pears. I loved the contrast between the sweet pear and the strong gorgonzola cheese. Out of the pizzas we ordered, my favourite were the gorgonzola and the Americana. The Yorville Cibo had one knock to it and unfortunately it was significant. At a place like this, you definitely expect exceptional service but that was seriously lacking when we went. One thing I cannot stand at restaurants is when patrons have to ask for water refills - such a simply task. We had to ask our server multiple times for drink refills and one time even went so far as to grab a bottle of water from the bar ourselves. Our table was located right in front of the bar and our server was the bartender so there isn’t really an excuse. Horrible service overall. But ultimately if you can excuse the poor service, the pizza is well worth it. I highly recommend the pizza here and I will definitely come back! Read more
