*sigh* Where do I even begin… I brought my plus one here on a whim because I got good word from a work colleague of mine that this was the go to spot for fine dining on Jane, and let me tell you I was pleasantly surprised. When I first arrived I ... was greeted by to kind hearted waitress, Lia and Ella, we felt completely at home with a nice vibe throughout the entire establishment. Now for the dining experience, their were an assortment of dishes to choose from including a special of the day menu, most looked delicious but we decided to indulge in some classic gnocchi and it did not disappoint, the wine choices and diff amaro showed the owner had a firm grip on the culture. Just an OK experience, but it didn't taste anything like Italian or Spanish cuisine. Definitely overpriced. The portions are small and overseasoned - the meat was too salty and gnocchi, too spicy. The only good thing was probably the chocolate cake.

If you are looking for simple, rustic, and hand-made meals from locally and seasonally-sourced ingredients, Campo is for you. Serving Italian and Spanish inspired cuisine, each course is bursting with flavour. Cocktail list and wine list are incredible as well! Recommend getting there early as it fills up fast!

Good spot that stands out in unassuming Bloor West Village. Started things off with steak tartare, then had the rabbit and carbonara for the main. My yiayia makes the same rabbit dish so I had high standards. It lived up to expectations (minus being made by yiayia herself of course). Had some ... sparkling wine and spritz pitcher for the group of 4 which was better than ordering individually. Atmosphere was cozy, servers were attentive but kept things casual. Weather was super humid and the restaurant was pretty hot, not sure they had AC. 4 stars as they only take debit, cash, or e-transfer.
