Just had the most amazing Gnocchi alla Sorentina at Boccaccio Ristorante—it was perfect! The place has a great vibe, and the staff are really friendly. If you're looking for top-notch Italian food in Toronto, this is the spot to go!
Our experience hosting my daughter's first communion party at this restaurant was nothing short of exceptional. Giovanni gave us a warm welcome right from the start. The staff was very helpful in ensuring our celebration was memorable. The ambiance was perfect for the occasion, and the food was delicious, pleasing ... both kids and adults alike. It was truly a joyous and unforgettable day, and we're grateful to have chosen such a wonderful venue for this special milestone. Highly recommended! Read more
My family and I came here to celebrate our aunts 90th birthday and the setup, service, food, and atmosphere was fantastic! I'm giving this place 5 stars because the food reminded me of the way we eat in Italy, it was very authentic, simple and prepared very well! Definitely ... coming back! Un grande saluto allo cuoco di Calabria, complimenti! Read more
We had amazing experience hosting our daughter’s baptism at Boccaccio Ristorante. The food were not only delicious but were well portioned like a REAL Italian restaurant. Giovanni, along with his staff were really nice and easy to talk to and served us the food in a timely manner. I 💯 ... recommend this place to anyone looking to host any kind of party 🎉!!! Read more
I've had my share of bad experiences at restaurants, but I've never walked away from a place feeling absolutely scammed. I ordered the lamb shank, it was a big piece of bone with about a fork and a half worth of meat and cafeteria gravy (I wish I was exaggerating). My wife ... ordered the lobster risotto. Not only was it devoid of any hint of lobster, but the flavor it did have made me think of dishwater. The pink things in the pic are red onions, not lobster. Not to mention the tiny portions that couldn't satisfy a hobbit. I'm not complaining about having to order sides separately (like $8 for half a roasted potato) but the a la carte way each item came separately instead of on the same plate was rather cumbersome and didn't leave a lot of room on the table. As a restaurant owner, you try to balance the experience and staying in the black. These days, things are tough. I get it. But how do you feel knowing that your guests went home hungry? Literally the worst restaurant experience of my life. Go at your own risk. Ciao Read more
