A four star dinner place in my experience but my lunch experience there (on a weekend) had a limited menu of breakfast foods and a food court level menu of sandwiches, soup, salads and pizza. The waiter said they had liver only to then say they didn't. The fried calamari was ... saturated in oil with a not so special dipping sauce. I'll return for the dinner menu though in future. This place has a nice quiet vibe with equally cozy Italian food. The staff are friendly and accommodating. I'd say that their pasta was the highlight of this place as it had full bodied flavors and not bland like most Italian restaurants around town. I'd definitely come back for it.

My parents and I came her for my birthday dinner and had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere is quaint and the noise level is very manageable. The waiter was helpful with suggestions and very nice. The food was great, definitely recommend trying the bruschetta with goat cheese! My parents both ... had a pasta and loved it. Very pleasant restaurant, romantic atmosphere, with a nice selection of wines and surprisingly good pizza (wood stove baked)! Oh, and their Tiramisu is one of the best I've had in Toronto! Went with friends on a Saturday, the food was unreal and the level of service is way beyond 5 stars . If you're lucky enough and you get Sandy for the night then give yourself another 5 stars as he was a very cultured and knowledgeable ... waiter with their menu and wines. This was our first visit to Amores so we did make reservation for 7pm and glad we did as the place started filling up .I had the veal scaloppini and substituted the potatoes and veggies for the spaghetti for $2.00 more. My wife had the blackened trout and I must say our dinners were impeccable as was the deserts. Our friends had pasta dishes that they thoroughly enjoyed..
