Just had the best dosa in Toronto and Scarborough. This is a small place that has a line up out the door. It is so popular that they have a strict 30-minute dine in policy to make sure all their hungry fans get a chance to enjoy their delicious ... food. The food is good and the service is quick.. but they will charge u extra for sambar $1.99 for a small bowl, whereas its complimentary in most of the places.Upon asking the staff said it is a policy… How is a person suppose to have 2 idli and 2 vada ... combo in small dipping sauce size sambar. Our go to place to have dosa. It's really worth the price. We always end up getting some for take out. The staff is really really nice and humble. One time we went there late and there were already too many people and I gave up hope that they will ... call but they called me after 15 minutes that it's ready. They're really nice people and they never accept tips which idk why because those people deserve every bit of it. Read more
Well service is fast, but only 1 person serving all 10 tables? Is owner crazy? I went during 3pm which is peak hour and saw only 1 girl serving cleaning and taking order. Perfect for casual lunch/brunch. We had Ghee roast masala dosa, special Thali and regular Thali, everything equally good. Bliss for South Indian food lovers. The portion size is generous and definitely worth a visit if you're in the area around Kennedy or bluffers park. Ambience could have been better, but food is great.
