Amazing food as always, glad they are open again for business. After trying Pakistani/Indian cuisine throughout the GTA, I can confidently say Lahore Tikka House and the Tikka food truck are amongst the top 5 best restaurants I’ve tried of that cuisine. This was our first time since Covid. The food and atmosphere was better than I remembered. To start the service was incredible. She was extremely friendly, kind and attentive as were other staff who came to ask how we were doing. We ordered two butter chicken, basmati rice, two butter ... naan, two garlic naan, and two chicken and beef kebabs. If you want to add more heat you can has for there hot peppers. They have a beautiful yogurt sauce to cool things off also. We had food left over that we took home. Be mindful that they’re servicing a go along way. A very clean, friendly family environment. The place is dirty! You have to pay at the counter right after you order! Take your order yourself, walk with that stick with number on it ! The washrooms are extremely dirty 🤢 Food is not bad if I don’t consider that they serve us cold rice ! We ... asked for water and fork at least 5 times ,at the end we had to call the manager 🤦🏻‍♀️ When she try to explain that the staff went to the basement for water! PROS AND CONS PROS: Fantastic place for not only a food experience but a cultural experience. This is a location I’ve been going to since I was a kid, roughly around 2006-2010. This business has grown in popularity and they still have the same customer service practice and quality. Coming from a customer who ... has Asian heritage, this kind of food really feels authentic. The flavours are super strong ranging from spicy to mild. Most of the food is shareable size so bring a date or a group of people. In the summer they have their patio section opened which really is a perfect place to eat on a nice summer day in Toronto. CONS: This place only has room for like six cars in their parking lot. It is extremely cramped and can be difficult to weave in and out. You likely have to pay to park on the street or go park far in the nearby residential streets The washroom tend to be dirty and lacks proper cleaning. Easily the best Pakistani food in Toronto. Authentic taste and interior decor. We loved the long list of items available on the menu. Lots of seating options available including outdoor seating. The staff seemed overwhelmed with orders and there could be a wait for your order to arrive. We had to ... call out the staff few times to remind them about our order. Other than that the food was mind blowing. If you like spicy and hot south Asian food then this is the place to be. Be ready to spend though as it’s not cheap. But it’s worth every penny! Read more
