I wasn't as impressed with the food here as I was hoping to be. When I saw the michellin posts I was beyond excited to try it. The service was great and efficient and by far the best thing about this restaurant. When our food arrived I wasn't as impressed ... as o was hoping to be. The panner lacked spice for me and the Salt levels were lacking. The presentation was great but the texture was also not something I was used to. That's fine though, to each their own interpretation. The garlic Naan lacked garlic flavor to me but was perhaps one of the greatest textured Naans I have ever had. It had a great crispiness and puffiness to it. Really still wished for more flavor. It was a decent experience for anyone wanting Indian food but in my opinion, this is not anywhere close to a michellin shout out. Read more

Food taste was good, good size portion, Matar paneer and Punjabi Dal tadka was not very spicy, good enough for kids to enjoy, Dahi kabab was ok, plating was good. conveniently located near CN tower/Ripleys aquarium (5 Min walk) service was quick, restaurant is on multiple floor because pf space ... crunch but thats common in downtown toronto. I thoroughly enjoyed the diverse flavors of Indian cuisine at this restaurant. The goat curry and chicken curry were highlights, served in a tray with an array of flavorful stews. Food at Aanch was great! Tried Paanipuri shots for the first time and they were delicious! Their butter chicken was flavourful and the rice and roti were great pairings to it. The only feedback is the seating area that we were in. There are 3 tables side by side on the ... upper level they are pretty close to each other. I wonder if there’s another floor above for dine in as well. There is a line table by the window that’s somewhat more private. Michelin star Indian food, tremendous! Staffs are very friendly and the food was amazing! Rich in flavor and aroma. We ordered butter chicken and a lamb dish. Lamb was perfectly cooked, tender and soft.
