Why is it restaurant even open? This is possibly one the worst restaurants I have ever been to. The server's are great however the food is not edible. The price is expensive and the portions are extremely small. I ordered squid balls and I got fish balls, my mother ordered ... Guillin noodles and she ketchup in a soup …. The floor was extremely wet and nearly slipped an elderly, napkins were wrinkly and looked used, complementary hot tea was not hot and the red bean ice cream drink deal was really misleading as if false advertisement. Mistakes like this should not be made especially in a restaurant with barely any customers. We used to come here often and I just remembered we have stopped. Read more
A great place for tasty inexpensive "HK style cafe" foods. Specials throughout the day. Breakfast runs till 11:30 , which can turns into a filling early lunch. Afternoon tea runs till 6pm. Love the breaded fried pork chop and fries. Portion have gotten a bit smaller on last visit.
Food was good, but the special lunch menus on the wall were all in Chinese and a little hard to read. The staff, even though they were friendly, were also a bit too busy to explain the menu to us (it was Sunday lunch time)... today's veggie soup ... was a bit too spicy too. Portion sizes were pretty big though. I'll give this place another try another time. =) Read more
Food: 7/10 -- Value: 10/10 -- Service: 7/10 -- Ambiance/Décor: 7/10 This is a bare bones Chinese diner. It doesn't pretend to be anything more than common food for common folk and the prices reflect that. For $8.75, I got a dish with a chicken steak, big fish cutlet, veggies, and rice. ... It even comes with soup and a drink, and it still costs less than a "gourmet" burger. I mean, this is incredible value. I've never had something bad here. At worst, it's average, but like it's to be expected. Another dish that is my go-to is the cheesy cream sauce chicken pieces with rice. That is a terrible English translation but it pretty much resembles popcorn chicken (maybe not as battered and fried) on top of rice, covered with a melted cheese and cream sauce. It's really good. The servers, who have been working there for a really long time, are very friendly, some exceptionally so, but there's no one rude or unpleasant. If you're looking for a cheap and quick meal and don't want anything fancy, this place is dependable. Read more
