Pita Pit - Toronto, Ontario

We arrived there 30 minutes before it closed. We ordered 5 pitas from them but they said they couldn't heat them up as they have shut down the toaster. I understand it was their closing time but still it was 30 minutes to close and ideally being in downtown Toronto ... they should be open to getting late night customers. The pita was ok, not much to complain but it would have been better if they would have been kind enough to heat it up. It doesn't take too much time to plug it and get it going. That's why I'm giving their location 3 stars due to bad customer service. Read more

Really great location. Every one who works here is so friendly. I've gone in on busy days and they are very efficient. And on slow days when I go in they engage, which is a rarity at a fast food place. They always have a bowl of candy out which ... is a nice touch. Once I had them offer me a free sample of a smoothie. Another time, when they saw I was eating in, they offered me a glass of water with my lunch. Read more

Pita Pit is one of my favourite places to get a pita! I am so sad that Toronto does not have them everywhere! I missioned one day to the Pita Pit on Adelaide, and it was absolutely worth it! The only negative feedback I have is the size of the ... restaurant is pretty small, other then that the staff were great. They were bopping around listening to music, and the 2 girls working at the time seemed to work well together and were really kind and great to be around. Read more

The food is bomb but the service is terrible! The employees look absolutely miserable. Would it kill them to crack a smile or even attempt to be somewhat personable? I originally thought that maybe I went in on an off day but upon repeat visits I'm just certain they're all ... just really miserable. They can't even be bothered to return basic pleasantries. When I told the girl to have a nice day, she just hissed at me, "yup." I get it's probably not her life's ambition to make pitas, but it really wouldn't hurt any of them to enhance the customer experience with a smile or positive attitude. Went to pick up my order and when I got to my office I realized that I was give the wrong pita. I was very disappointed. When I called the gentleman quickly apologized and send he would bring me a new one to my work asap. Within moments I ... had my pita. Great customer service at this location!! Read more
